LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Laser hair reduction involves a series of treatments in which hair follicles are precisely targeted and destroyed using laser energy. When enough energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair, heat is produced and the temperature rise causes destruction of the follicle, resulting in the inability for hair re-growth. The laser is most effective when hairs are in their active growth cycle at the time off treatment. Other hairs will enter their active at different times, thereby requiring multiple treatments to gradually disable the hair follicles in a given area. Each hair removal treatment will result in less hair, finer hair density, and slower hair growth. In addition, refinement treatments every 4-6 months are recommended to maintain results.
